Seeking to be a living testimony to God's love, grace and mercy

FELLOWSHIP

While all activities at church offer opportunities for fellowship, SFPC offers several regular activities to help bring us closer together.

SUNDAY LUNCH FOLLOWING WORSHIP

Most Sundays, SFPC hosts a light lunch in the fellowship hall. There is a basket for donations, if you wish to contribute, but no charge, and you’ll find plenty of good food and a relaxing time to chat with friends.

LUNCH BUNCH

The Lunch Bunch gets together each month at a good restaurant in the central KY area. Join the Lunch Bunch at Noon on Thursday, December 7, for lunch at Frankfort Country Club. Please contact Bill Leroy at sfpclunchbunch@gmail.com, or visit the Lunch Bunch Facebook page for more information.

WEAVINGS GROUP
For many years the Weavings group met to discuss topics featured in current issues of the devotional known as "Weavings," published by The Upper Room, a nondenominational organization. Though the publication is no longer available in print, the group still meets regularly for discussions on Christian spirituality. For more information, contact Joyce Walton.

THE PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN,
ALSO KNOWN AS CIRCLES

The women's organization gives women an opportunity for Christian growth through fellowship, study and service. Church membership is not a requirement. The umbrella organization, Presbyterian Women, holds regional meetings once or twice each year, but most involvement happens in small working units called circles. Circles usually consist of about ten to twenty women who meet monthly for ten months of the year using the designated Bible Study Book. Circles also provide an opportunity for getting acquainted with other women and serve as a support group. Come join us! Make our circle of circles complete!

Circle 1 - Jane Wilson, Chair
First Monday of each month, 11:30 a.m. at SFPC

Circle 2 - Nancey Belle Smith, Chair
First Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m.

Circle 3 - Carolyn Underwood, Chair

Circle 4 - Janice Collins, Chair

CHURCH WOMEN UNITED

Church Women United is a racially, culturally, theologically inclusive Christian women’s movement, celebrating unity in diversity and working for a world of peace and justice. They are hosted by various churches in Frankfort and Franklin County.
